Working 100 hours a week

I read a while ago about that Elon Musk works up to 100 hours a week. Someone could say this is crazy… This is about 14,5 hours a day (including Saturday, and Sunday).

If I think about how much time I am working (not only spending time in the day job), it could be similar.

The key is to work smart, not work more hours…

When I think about My business… I definitely spend too less time to improve stuff in it…

Reason?

I need money… I am still not in position, when I can just left my daily job, and focus on Private Ventures…

How to actually save some time

What are my methods to save time, and be super productive on those short times, when I can actually work on my own?

Avoid micro pauses

What is micro pause for me?

For example, when I am going shopping, next go home, take a 15 minutes break, and next go wash my car…

This is a micro pause, when I can’t actually focus on anything productive… And not only I waste those 15 minutes…

I am also wasting time, when I am driving twice around the city.

How to avoid this? Simple planning… I can firstly go wash my car, next go shopping , and next get back home…

This is only a example, but those micro pauses, where I would have 3 at day… It makes me 10 hours a week… 10 hours, which I could use much more productive…

Do home related stuff when I am tired

When I am super tired, and actually can’t focus on anything productive I just turn on my tv, and start cleaning my apartment…

Actually I have to do this eventually, so better to do that actually, when it is 9 PM, and definitely my eyes can’t focus on monitor, rather than next day morning, when I will, be much more focused, and have energy, which could be used on something creative… This way I am saving my time on the second day.

Avoid watching TV during focus sessions

When I want to do anything creative, like planning, or doing some work for my clients I have to be fully focus…

Music is great, but not TV, which could attract my eyesight once a while…

Rest on the end of the day, when is rest time

Everyone of us probably have their own system, when We are most productive…

When I was at colleague I prefer staying long in the night, and doing some stuff…

Now I want to be sharp on the morning at work, so I am trying to actually wake up a little bit earlier, do my work, and rest since 10 PM…

Watch some movie, or read a book…

I am waiting all day for those relax time, so I am more focus to actually do my work, because I am waiting for my reward.

What i did today?

I am a little bit frustrated about my meditation sessions… I am trying, but I am not achieving as much, as I expected…

Don’t know yet if the issue is about focusing…

What I have to do is to read some more about this… Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Maybe I am doing it to short (10 minutes a day), or maybe just too much stuff Is fluffing over my head?

My go to person number one is Leo Babauta. Also I have bought a book recently on iBooks Meditation for beginners.

Read about 80 pages, and now I don’t actually know much more than before… Have to be patient and probably read it all…

I was at swimming pool, and did drink 2 liters of water probably (with some lemons).
